Sixty-four South Korean citizens implicated in Cambodian criminal activities arrived at Incheon International Airport on Saturday morning (October 18th) under police escort on a chartered flight from Phnom Penh's Dresden International Airport. They appeared to be handcuffed, but their hands were covered with cloth. Most of them are suspects wanted by South Korea, including some wanted by Interpol. They will be investigated and face legal action for allegedly operating fraud operations in Cambodian criminal circles.

South Korea issued a "black alert" travel ban, classifying Cambodia at the same level as countries in the Ukrainian war zone. Cambodia has previously repatriated 180 South Korean citizens suspected of online fraud. (Reuters)
