•  Robert Irwin danced a contemporary piece in honor of his mother, Terri Irwin—who raised two children alone after her husband Steve Irwin’s passing in 2006. After the dance, judge Bruno Tonioli said emotionally: “You gave us your whole heart and soul. All I can say is, this was a true expression of eternal love.”

• Dylan Efron dedicated his dance to his younger sister Olivia. Their contemporary routine to Rewrite the Stars earned the night’s highest score: 36/40.

• Elaine Hendrix teamed up with her close friend and The Parent Trap co-star Lisa Ann Walter for a foxtrot.
