Israeli forces bomb southern Gaza again, claiming they are responding to Hamas attacks, putting ceasefire agreement under renewed pressure
(Cairo/Jerusalem) Just over a week after the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, the US-brokered ceasefire has faced a major test. Israeli media reported that Israeli forces launched airstrikes on the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip after coming under attack from Hamas in the buffer zone.
