October 29th - Boston Celtics player Josh Minott spoke to the media about his first career start.
"I really don't know how to describe this excitement," Minott said in the interview.
"I'm still ecstatic. Starting has been my childhood dream, and I've been looking forward to this day ever since. I hope my name gets called; it's a blessing from God."
"Coach Joe Mazura gave me this opportunity, and I won't take it for granted. I don't want to waste this opportunity."
In yesterday's Celtics 122-90 victory over the Pelicans, Minott played 28 minutes, shooting 6-for-9 from the field, 1-for-3 from three-point range, and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line, scoring 15 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, dishing out 1 assist, making 1 steal, and blocking 1 shot, with a plus-minus of +42.
