October 29th - Boston Celtics player Anfernee Simons spoke to the media about his adjustment period.
"Yes, I'm playing a completely new role with the Celtics now," Simons said in the interview.
"Obviously, I had more ball-handling time with the Trail Blazers, so I could be more patient because I knew I had control of the ball throughout the game."
"But it's different in Boston. There are a lot of great players here who can handle the ball and orchestrate the offense. So I have to find my rhythm in this environment."
In yesterday's Celtics' 122-90 victory over the Pelicans, Simons played 32 minutes, shooting 9-for-17 from the field, including 6-for-13 from three-point range, and 1-for-1 from the free-throw line, scoring 25 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, dishing out 1 assist, and recording 1 steal.
