Today, ClutchPoints updated its status, discussing Dallas Mavericks player Anthony Davis:
"The Davis is really having a run of bad luck.
He's only played five games this season, and AD is already down again.
He limped off the court, and the Mavericks later cited soreness in his left calf.
He played through the injury, having previously been diagnosed with bilateral Achilles tendon problems.
This is yet another chapter in Davis's unfortunate run.
Last season, shortly after being traded to Dallas, he was injured in his debut game and missed 18 games.
He then suffered an eye injury, forcing him to wear goggles, which doctors say he'll need for the rest of his career.
Even so, Davis's performance on the court remains among the league's best.
However, staying healthy is always his biggest challenge.
Hopefully, this injury isn't serious?"
