The host asked, "If you were traded, would that be a sign of your declining performance, or is it just your pride getting in the way?"
Durant replied, "If I'm not getting playing time, if I'm not making the rotation, what's the point of me? I don't play just to collect a salary."
"I'm not saying I have to take every shot or start, but if I'm not playing a significant role, if I can't find my rhythm and feel every game, I want to contribute every night, you know? If I can't even do that, I'd rather play pickup games with my buddies."
