November 2nd - In Game 7 of the MLB World Series, the Toronto Blue Jays (3-3) hosted the Los Angeles Dodgers (3-3). The Dodgers rallied from a 0-3 deficit to force extra innings.
In the top of the 11th inning, Will Smith hit a go-ahead solo home run, giving the Dodgers a 5-4 victory and the championship.
The Lakers posted a poster congratulating their crosstown rivals, the Dodgers: "Two-time champions, congratulations to the Los Angeles Dodgers!"
