November 1st - Former NBA player Paul Pierce recently discussed Austin Reeves' recent outstanding performance on a program.
Pierce stated, "As long as you have LeBron James on the team, you can't give Reeves (enough salary). You have to fully assess what level he can reach. Can he be a second star on a strong team? Or can he only be the third option?"
"Of course, you want to see the team's third star perform like this, but the question then becomes, can he still do it when the real clutch moments come? I don't think he'll have that opportunity as long as LeBron James is on the team… I think his chemistry with James and Luka Doncic is better."
"James' influence is so great that it overshadows some other players, because when he's off the court, you realize how outstanding the other players' talents are."
