Before the game, Mavericks team reporter Mike Curtis shared excerpts from the pre-game press conference. When asked about Flagg's 21-game free throw streak, Mavericks head coach Kidd said: "He has to keep this aggressiveness; it's part of his game."
"Why are you bringing this up? I'm going to tell him you've brought him bad luck. He can get to the free-throw line and make it now. He has to keep this aggressiveness. It's part of his game; he needs to know how to get to the free-throw line when other offensive weapons fail."
So far this season, Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg is averaging 13.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. The game will start at 9:00 PM.
