November 4th - The Lakers' away game against the Trail Blazers in today's NBA regular season game has concluded. The Lakers defeated the Trail Blazers 123-115.
After the game, Lakers guard Marcus Smart was interviewed by reporters.
Reporter: "JJ mentioned tonight that in the NBA, if you want to win, you have to go out there with the belief that you're going to win. You were short-handed tonight, but you still managed to beat your opponent. Did you set that tone for your teammates from the start tonight?"
Smart: "Yes, but personally, I didn't play very well tonight. But that's okay. My teammates got their chances. My brother DA (Ayton), Hachimura, and Bronny, especially Nick Smith, they all changed the game. That's the beautiful thing about basketball—every night everyone has a chance to be the hero on the court. And I just went out there, tried to be as consistent as possible, and gave my teammates hope."
In this game, Lakers player Marcus Smart played 31 minutes, shooting 3-for-11 from the field and 1-for-5 from three-point range, scoring 9 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.
