November 5th - In an NBA regular season game, the Bucks lost to the Raptors 100-128.
After the game, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers spoke to reporters about the officiating on Giannis Antetokounmpo:
"There were a few times he was fouled, but the referees didn't call it. There's nothing you can do about that. You know, Giannis isn't going to change anything; he'll just keep playing his own style."
"One thing that's really good about Giannis, and that's what makes him so valuable, is that he rarely complains. So I always tell the referees, if even he's complaining, then you probably have a problem. Because he gets hit and bumped all the time, but he hardly says anything. But if you see him frustrated, it means that's really happened too often. But that's part of the game; he'll keep playing. And you have to give the opponent credit. We just played a game last night, and they're rested at home waiting for us. But more importantly, they played the right way the whole game. You can see their improvement from last year to this year, and you know they've done a great job. Their coach has the whole team's respect, so that's really commendable."
