October 18th: Recently, NBA legend Paul Pierce appeared on a TV show and discussed LeBron James' potential retirement.
Pierce said, "I think this will be James' final season. His accomplishments are already remarkable, and his career has been long enough. I truly believe he's accomplished things that have never been done before in NBA history, right? And there are two things that will never happen in my lifetime: no one will break his scoring record, and no other player will ever share the court with their son. I believe neither of these things is possible—unless a player has a son in high school right now, which is obviously unrealistic. I always feel that he should have a sense of accomplishment by now: he's won all the accolades he deserves, has achieved a lot, and has a very successful business venture off the court. The next challenge is to expand these businesses and become the best in his field."
"I know that every year he misses the championship is very tormenting for him, and I always believe that he plays basketball for more than just the sake of playing basketball."
