November 7th - European basketball media Eurohoops reports that former NBA player Kenneth Faried will sign with the Greek basketball club Panathinaikos.
It is understood that Faried has reached a contract with Panathinaikos until the end of this season. Panathinaikos has bought out Faried's contract with the Taiwanese team TSG GhostHawks.
Faried was selected 22nd overall in the first round of the 2011 NBA draft by the Denver Nuggets and was selected for the US Men's National Basketball Team in 2014, winning the FIBA World Championship.
Faried played eight seasons in the NBA, averaging 11.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1 assist per game.
In addition, Faried also played for the CBA's Guangsha Lions in the 2019-2020 season, averaging 17.3 points, 10 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.4 blocks per game.
