In the fourth quarter, Victor Wimbledon hit two consecutive three-pointers, leading the Spurs to a comeback victory. Throughout the game, Spurs player Victor Wimbledon played 36 minutes, shooting 11-for-19 from the field, 6-for-9 from three-point range, and 10-for-10 from the free-throw line, scoring 38 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 5 blocks.
After the game, Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson was interviewed by reporters. Regarding Wimbledon's late basket, Johnson said:
"He made that shot, so sometimes the game is won by the players, not the tactics. He obviously liked the matchup he was facing."
