November 12th - According to Marc Stein, the Dallas Mavericks have officially announced the dismissal of Harrison as general manager.
Following this, Carmelo Anthony, a current NBC commentator, shared his thoughts on the matter on his show:
"I understand what they said, but this marks a new beginning for the Mavericks. I think it's a good opportunity to give the fans an explanation. I don't think there was a clear consensus within the Mavericks' management regarding the team's direction before. But after the dismal record, they reached a consensus.
I think this is also a relief for Harrison; he can return to his family."
