November 12th - According to a report by Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated, Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd is doing well in Dallas, enjoying the approval of team owners and the respect of fans.
Sources reveal that Kidd has been eager to participate in personnel decisions in his previous role. Following Nick Harrison's firing, Kidd may move into the Mavericks' front office, and under his leadership, Dirk Nowitzki may be recalled to a position with the team.
Mannix states that a rebuild around Cooper Flagg is inevitable for the Mavericks, and overseeing this process from the executive office is clearly better than from the coaching bench.
