November 12th - Lakers Daily reporter Ashish Mathur recently reported that the Lakers highly value Austin Reeves. Sources revealed that the Lakers have rejected over 20 trade offers for Reeves since last season.
A Lakers source stated, "The Lakers would only use Reeves to trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo or Nikola Jokic, but neither of those players are likely to be traded this season."
Reeves has a player option on his contract for next season, meaning he can become a free agent after this season. An NBA executive stated that he believes Reeves can sign a 5-year, $150 million contract and will remain in Los Angeles.
So far this season, Reeves has performed exceptionally well, averaging a career-high 30.3 points per game, shooting 48% from the field, 32.4% from three-point range, and 88% from the free-throw line.
