November 13th - According to The Athletic, Nico Harrison urged Anthony Davis to return from his calf injury earlier than planned, despite warnings from the Mavericks' medical team that a premature return could risk a torn Achilles tendon.
The report states, "Davis missed his sixth consecutive game with a left calf strain in Monday's loss to the Bucks. Multiple league sources revealed that Davis had been trying to persuade the Mavericks to allow him to return, and Harrison had also urged him to return, but the team's medical team strongly opposed it, believing that a premature return could lead to a torn Achilles tendon." The Mavericks had previously opted to fire Harrison.
