2025 Major League Baseball MVP Awards Review
The two Most Valuable Players (MVPs) for the 2025 MLB season were:
Aaron Judge (New York Yankees)
Shohei Ohtani (Los Angeles Dodgers)

I. Aaron Judge
Aaron Judge was selected as the American League MVP in 2025, marking his third MVP award and his second consecutive year winning the award.
In the voting, Judge received 17 first-place votes and a total score of 355 points.
1.1 Season Highlights
Judge led the league with a batting average of .331.
He hit 53 home runs and ranked highly in many key statistics.
Judge also maintained a high OPS (On-Base Plus-Spinnings) and other offensive metrics, placing him among the league's top hitters.

II. Shohei Ohtani
Shohei Ohtani won the National League MVP in 2025, unanimously (30 first-place votes, totaling 420 points) – his fourth MVP award, all unanimously.
Furthermore, he won the MVP for the second consecutive year since joining the Los Angeles Dodgers.
2.1 Season Highlights
On offense, Ohtani had an extremely high playing time, appearing in approximately 158 games, leading the league with a .282 batting average, 55 home runs (a career high), 102 RBIs, and 146 runs. After returning to pitching, he pitched an ERA of 2.87, performing exceptionally well in 47 innings.
Ohtani is also one of the few (truly) "two-way players" (batting + pitching) in the league. This is extremely rare in modern MLB.
He currently has four MVP awards, second only to Barry Bonds' seven.
