November 14th - Major League Baseball (MLB) officially announced today that
Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers has been unanimously named the 2025 National League MVP, while Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees has been named the 2025 American League MVP.
This marks Ohtani's second consecutive MVP award and his fourth career MVP title, ranking second in MLB history behind only Berry Bonds' seven. Aaron Judge receives his third career MVP award, securing his second consecutive American League MVP. Notably, this is the first time in MLB history that players from both leagues have won the MVP award for two consecutive years.
