
On October 19th, according to Brooklyn Nets reporter Erik Slater, the team has waived forward Grant Nelson and guard Hunter Carterall.
Grant Nelson, an undrafted player this year, stands 6.11 meters tall and plays power forward.
Nelson played in five games for the Nets in summer league this year, averaging 6.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game while shooting 57.9% from the field.
Carterall, an undrafted player last year, stands 6.91 meters tall and plays guard from Virginia Tech. During his college career, he averaged 10.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 41.5% from three-point range.
Both Nelson and Carterall had previously signed training camp contracts with the Nets.
