November 16th - In an NBA regular season game, the Bucks lost to the Lakers 95-119 at home. This game marked Lakers rookie Adu Tiero's NBA debut.
After the game, Lakers player Jared Vanderbilt tried to take the game ball back to the locker room, but the referee intervened and spoke with the Lakers players for nearly a minute before taking the ball away. Later, Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo asked staff for the game ball and gave it to Luka Doncic. In a subsequent interview, Antetokounmpo discussed the incident. "I don't know why they wouldn't give him the ball, so I went and got it and gave it to their team," Antetokounmpo said. When asked about the game ball, Tiero said, "At first, I didn't even realize it was all for me, but I'm very grateful to everyone. I think it shows how close we are, how much we want each other to succeed, and how much we want the team to succeed." In this game, Antetokounmpo started and played 32 minutes, shooting 9-for-15 from the field, 1-for-1 from three-point range, and 13-for-18 from the free-throw line, scoring 32 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, dishing out 5 assists, and blocking 1 shot.
