November 16th - The New Orleans Pelicans officially announced the dismissal of Willie Green as head coach.
Assistant coach James Borrego will serve as interim head coach.
Borrego subsequently spoke to reporters, addressing the fans: "I expect everyone to be here tomorrow, to fill the arena. Let's give it our all, believe in these guys, and build the future together. Ultimately—when we have the support of our fans, when we have that recognition and belief, our team becomes stronger. And it's our responsibility to keep them believing." The Pelicans will face the Warriors at home tomorrow.
