Before tonight's game, NFL insider Ian Rapoport posted that Texans running back Joe Mixon would miss the remainder of the season due to injury.
Joe Mixon himself subsequently posted: "I know everyone's chasing sensational news and clicks, but I'm just curious, Ian Rapoport, why do you know me better than I know myself?"
It's worth noting that several Houston local reporters and independent media outlets insisted after Mixon's statement that the Texans had not announced Mixon's absence for the remainder of the season. However, in a brief interview before the game, Ian Rapoport reiterated his view that Joe Mixon would not play this season.
