On October 19th, Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was a guest on SiriusXM NBA Radio, where he was again asked about his commitment to staying with the Bucks long-term.
"Of course, my goal from day one was to play for one team for 20-plus years, just like Tim Duncan and other great players. But as my career progressed, the most important thing for me was to maintain that competitive drive. I wanted to win, and I didn't want to stay in my comfort zone," Antetokounmpo said.
"It was actually an easy decision for me. I've been in Milwaukee for 13 years. This is my comfort zone. I can drive to the arena blindfolded. I know how the game works, I know everyone in the arena, and this city loves me. But this is my comfort zone, and I'm going to work hard to get out of it because that's what makes me better," Antetokounmpo said.
