On October 19th, American media outlet Clutch Points updated its Instagram account today, sharing the three contracts Russell Westbrook has signed since leaving the Lakers.
Clutch Points wrote: "The pace of change in the league is insane.
Russell Westbrook, the former MVP, triple-double king, and all-time leading point guard, didn't even blink when the Thunder offered him a contract worth over $200 million.
And now? He's joining the Kings for his 18th season on a one-year, $3.63 million contract, a deal that was hastily finalized just days before the regular season began.
Since his underwhelming performance with the Lakers, Westbrook has signed three consecutive deals with exceptional value:
$7.86 million to the Clippers
$6.77 million to the Nuggets
$3.63 million to the Kings
Westbrook's max-salary era is over.
But if this trip to Sacramento sparks something, Westbrook might prove to everyone that the passionate Westbrook still exists."
