November 24th – Warriors head coach Steve Kerr spoke about forward Jonathan Cuminga in an interview today. When asked about Cuminga's training progress, Kerr said, "He'll tell you his current situation; he can't do anything yet. We haven't done contact drills with him, but we did scrimmages, and he wasn't involved. So, he's not doing well right now, and the training team is working with him. I don't know how he'll fare." Kerr stated in the interview that Cuminga is currently on a daily observation basis. "Honestly, I just spoke with the training team. They told me the situation is changing daily. I talked to JK, and he said he's still not very mobile, so I can't give a definite timeline for his return. He knows his condition better than I do; he has to wait until he recovers and his mobility improves before he can play," Kerr said. "We might schedule a knee examination next; we need further evaluation. The team misses him, we need him back, but only if he's fully recovered," Kerr said. “I haven’t spoken to him today, but I was hoping he could participate in scrimmage. But he couldn’t, so obviously his injury is more serious than we thought,” Cole said.
