November 25th - ESPN reporter Dave McMenamin published an article today discussing Lakers player LeBron James: James stated, "I've always believed that to be a team leader and someone you can rely on, maintaining attendance is crucial; you have to make your teammates able to depend on you. I know this is a tough season, and every year is challenging. A packed schedule can always come unexpectedly, and you can never predict what the schedule will bring, but I always try my best to maintain a high attendance rate." According to sources familiar with James's thinking who spoke to ESPN, the star sees this responsibility as a mission. Before the start of last season, he clearly stated his intention to play all 82 regular season games—something he had only accomplished once before in his career, in the 2017-18 season.
