November 27th - In the NBA Cup, the Rockets defeated the Warriors 104-100 on the road. Rockets guard Reed Sheppard started and played 37 minutes, shooting 12-for-25 from the field, 4-for-12 from three-point range, and 3-for-4 from the free-throw line, scoring 31 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, dishing out 5 assists, making 1 steal, and blocking 2 shots. After the game, the NBA officially stated that Sheppard became the second youngest player in Rockets history to record 30+ points, 8+ rebounds, and 5+ assists in a single game, second only to Alperen Shinkyung.
