October 20th - Miami Heat player Jameel Young spoke today about learning he had signed a new two-way contract after the Miami Heat's final preseason game against the Memphis Grizzlies last Friday night.
Young said, "I was with my agent. We went out to dinner, and he told me. My mood—of course I was happy. I called my mom right away. But that's it. I'm just happy and grateful for the opportunity."
In the 2024-25 season, Young played for the Chicago Bulls' G League affiliates, the Grand Rapids Gold and Windy City Bulls, appearing in 43 games and averaging 21.7 points, 7.1 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game.
