
December 15th – According to official NFL reports, Kansas City Chiefs player Patrick Mahomes suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and will miss the remainder of the season.
Mahomes sustained the ACL tear during the game against the Chargers, and the team is currently evaluating surgical options.
The 30-year-old Mahomes plays quarterback and has won three Super Bowl titles and three Super Bowl MVP awards.
The Kansas City Chiefs currently have a 6-8 record and are ranked 11th in the AFC.
