On October 21st, according to Nuggets reporter Bennett Durando, sources revealed that the Nuggets have not reached an early contract extension agreement with Payton Watson.
This also means that Watson will become a restricted free agent next offseason.
In the 24-25 regular season, Watson played in 68 games, averaging 8.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game, shooting 47.7% from the field and 35.3% from three-point range.
