On October 21st, ESPN reporter Shams Charania reported that the Nuggets' agent confirmed that Christian Braun and the Nuggets have reached an early five-year, $125 million contract extension.
Reporter Nate Duncan offered his opinion on this matter: "Given the Nuggets' financial situation, I'm hesitant to invest $25 million annually in Christian Braun. Due to his limited shooting ability, I consider him slightly above the mid-level elite. The Nuggets are still being extravagant when it comes to contract extensions."
In the 2024-25 regular season, Christian Braun played in 79 games, averaging 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, shooting 58.0% from the field and 39.7% from three-point range.
