October 21st: The NBA regular season officially begins tomorrow, with the Trail Blazers facing the Timberwolves at 10:00 AM on October 23rd.
Trail Blazers head coach Billups discussed the team's contract extensions in an interview. He said: "At the start of practice, everyone was applauding them (Shayden Sharp and Toumani Kamara). As soon as they entered the arena, everyone was congratulating them. I was so happy. Sharp isn't the most emotional person, but you could tell he was happy. Kamara was laughing so hard he could jump out of his phone. He was jumping around in his apartment with joy."
Previously, the Trail Blazers agreed to a four-year, $90 million contract extension with guard Shayden Sharp and a four-year, $82 million contract extension with forward Toumani Kamara.
