October 20th: 76ers head coach Nick Nurse spoke with reporters after today's team practice about forward Paul George's recovery from injury.
"I think Paul George has made progress in the last three practices. Again, this was his first full practice, and the last practice was his first time playing five-on-five. So, we're excited to see him out there again, and we're constantly improving," Nurse said.
"He looked good and mobile. While he still needs to work on his conditioning and other areas, he performed well overall. He's really working on his physical conditioning. Defensively, he was especially good. He was quick, had great reads, used his length to quickly get back on defense, and handled help defense well. He showed great defensive awareness, and he's constantly improving," Nurse said.
