October 21st News: Today, Trail Blazers Chinese team reporter Yovic posted on social media about Sissoko's recent developments.
"Sissoko has been training with the team this week and has attended community events, including today's practice. I've verified the rumors of him being waived, but they're pure nonsense. Ary's news...be cautious, or seek further verification," Yovic wrote on social media.
Sissoko played in four preseason games for the Trail Blazers, averaging 18 minutes, 4.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists, while shooting 22.2% from the field and 7.7% from three-point range.
