October 21st: Timberwolves player Anthony Edwards recently expressed his desire to bring Rudy Gobert back to Defensive Player of the Year status in a media interview.
After practice today, Gobert spoke with reporters, who asked him if returning to Defensive Player of the Year status was realistic.
Gobert replied: "Yes, it's realistic. But what does it mean to come back? Yes, that's certainly my mindset."
The Timberwolves will open their season on the 23rd against the Trail Blazers.
