On October 22nd, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Rockets 125-124 in double overtime at home in the NBA regular season. After the game, Thunder head coach Daigneault commented on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's performance.
"He just stayed in the game. It wasn't a perfect night for him, but he just tried to stay focused," Daigneault said. "He understands the nature of 48 minutes. He understands the nature of 82 games. It's not always perfect, and it wasn't perfect for us tonight. These guys just took the next play and never lost our focus or determination."
