October 23rd: Rockets player Kevin Durant gave an interview to Marc J. Spears today.
Durant signed a two-year, $90 million contract extension with the team. His contract will run through the end of the 2027-28 season, when he will be nearly 40 years old.
Durant stated that he plans to retire after fulfilling his contract with the Rockets.
"This is the last place I want to play. I just want to focus on the present and not think too much about the long term. I'll just let nature take its course."
