October 24th - Former Cavaliers player Richard Jefferson commented on a TV show about Durant taking a pay cut to re-sign with the Rockets:
"He's eager to win another championship, and the ideal solution is to keep this young roster, stay rooted in Houston, and retain the cap space to continue strengthening the roster. This is the best scenario for Kevin Durant."
Durant previously agreed to a two-year, $90 million contract extension with the Rockets.
