October 24th: Warriors player Draymond Green recently accepted a podcast interview.
Green discussed his thoughts on the 2019-20 season in an interview. He said, "The worst season of my career was the 2019-20 season. KD was gone, Klay was injured, Steph was also injured early in the season, and our performance was abysmal. I mean, we made it to the Finals five years in a row! Five years in a row! We were the best team in the world, but now (referring to the 2019-20 season)? With all due respect, I was playing with 10 or 11 guys who would be out of the NBA within a year. They weren't Steph, Klay, KD, or Shaun (Livingston). The competitive spirit was completely different. So back then, I was just going through the motions, playing perfunctorily. I remember someone saying to me, 'Yeah, Green, you're old now, you can't play anymore!'"
In the 2019-20 season, with KD leaving and both Thompson and Curry out for the season, the Warriors finished with a 15-50 record, finishing last in the league.
