In the second quarter of today's game, Pistons player Jalen Duren received a technical foul in the previous possession and then elbowed Amen Thompson in the face in the next possession, earning him an immediate ejection.
"It looked like Duren grabbed Thompson's arm and then hit him with his other arm, so the referee made the correct call," Rockets coach Ime Udoka said in an interview after the game.
