"It feels great to be out there playing, but today wasn't a good day for me because we lost the game."
"How did your defense get so good?" a reporter asked Gonzalez.
"Jalen Brunson scored 30 points, so it's not appropriate to say my defense was good today," Gonzalez replied.
In the game, Gonzalez played 23 minutes, scoring 6 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals, shooting 3-for-6.
Jalen Brunson played 35 minutes, scoring 31 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists, shooting 10-for-20.
