On October 27th, in today's NBA regular season game, the Mavericks defeated the Raptors 139-129.
After the game, Mavericks coach Jason Kidd spoke with reporters about his halftime message to the Mavericks regarding turnovers. The Mavericks committed 12 turnovers in the first half and only one in the third quarter.
Kidd said, "Just being honest. There were no tricks. We had to take care of the ball. We just made careless mistakes. One way to do that is to take better care of the ball, and another is to slow the pace down. I felt like we did slow the pace down in the third quarter. We connected everything together."
