Out of curiosity, I searched the PFR (Pro Football Reference) Hall of Fame index and saw which current players have a better chance of making it.
Using the average Hall of Fame index for each position as a benchmark, only three current non-special teams players are above average:
Rodgers, Kelce, and Wagner (Seahawks)
That's right, even someone as talented as Mavericks doesn't have the current accolades to reach the Hall of Fame average (though he'll definitely be in the Hall of Fame if he continues to work longer).
Von Miller, Khalil Mack, and Tyreek Hill are very close to the average.
While Talal on special teams meets the criteria, given his troubles and the Hall of Fame's disfavor towards special teams (even Vitalik hasn't been inducted yet), he's probably hopeless.
