
October 28th - In Game 3 of the MLB World Series, the Dodgers defeated the Blue Jays 6-5, taking a 2-1 lead in the series. Shohei Ohtani reached base nine times in this game, breaking the previous record of six.
Ohtani hit two doubles, becoming only the second player to hit four extra-base hits in a World Series game. Frank Isbell recorded four doubles for the White Sox in Game 5 against the Cubs in 1906. Ohtani tied this 119-year-old extra-base hit record.
