October 28th - In an NBA regular season game, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-114. After the game, Nikola Jokic gave an interview.
Jokic stated, "People only see Cameron Johnson and Tim Hardaway Jr. as 3-and-D players, but we'll use them in our split-push offense. They can handle the ball and gain an advantage through screens. They can also drive to the basket, which we've seen. So they're not just about shooting threes. Of course, they're very good at threes, but we'll also utilize their drives and split-push offense, and if you gain an advantage on the drive, you create opportunities for your teammates around you."
In this game, Jokic played 36 minutes, shooting 9-for-10 from the field and 7-for-7 from the free-throw line, scoring 25 points, grabbing 19 rebounds, dishing out 10 assists, recording 2 steals and 1 block.
