In the bottom of the second inning, Enrique Hernandez scored with a sacrifice fly to Muncy, giving the Dodgers their fourth consecutive World Series opening score and a 1-0 lead.
In the top of the third inning, Andrea Greno Jr. hit a two-run homer against Ohtani, putting the Blue Jays ahead 2-1.
In the top of the seventh inning, the Blue Jays hit two consecutive singles to defeat Ohtani, and then hit consecutive singles against substitute pitcher Banda, totaling 5 hits and 4 runs in the inning, giving them a 6-1 lead.
In the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dodgers pulled one back, but ultimately lost the game 2-6.
